Beth CaballeroL.C.B.A – C.I.C.B.

Principal, Maestro Cecchetti Final Diploma

Beth began her dance training at the age of five, studying Classical Ballet. She successfully completed all internationally recognised Cecchetti Examinations, including the prestigious Maestro Cecchetti Diploma. She has been the recipient of various awards, bursaries and accolades throughout her dancing and teaching career, and is a registered progressing ballet technique teacher. Beth has more than 30 years of teaching experience and is excited to continue sharing her love and passion for Classical Ballet with many more students to come.

Sandra AllanO.A.M., F.C.B.A.- C.I.C.B

Maestro Cecchetti Final Diploma

Sandra studied ballet at Marjorie Clarke’s School of Ballet in Brighton, Victoria and for higher grades with Madam Lucie Saranova, who was a former student of Maestro Cecchetti himself. During her teenage years, Sandra danced in many revues and on television and joined the Arts Theatre Ballet Company. Sandra started teaching in 1966 and ran a highly successful ballet school for 45 years before selling it to teach freelance. Sandra was appointed as a Cecchetti Examiner in 1985, rising through the ranks to now be a major Category 5 examiner travelling to all parts of Australia as well as internationally. Sandra received the highest honour of O.A.M in 2018 for her services to the Arts.

Danielle SavioA.C.B.A – C.I.C.B

MAESTRO CECCHETTI FINAL DIPLOMA MASTER OF ARCHITECTURE BACH. PROPERTY AND CONSTRUCTION BACH. PLANNING AND DESIGN

Danielle has always been eager to bring students into the world of dance using a unique combination of her varied education, coupled with 15+ years teaching experience and 20 years of performing and competing around Victoria. Danielle has a passion for mentoring and educating students to be the best dancers they can be, as well as becoming determined and focused young people.

Shannon EvensA.S.F.D

Shannon has been following her passion for dance since the age of three.  Her dance training has encompassed Classical Ballet Cecchetti Method, jazz, contemporary, tap, hip-hop and drama.  She is a registered teacher of Progressing Ballet Technique. Shannon has competed in many dance competitions and eisteddfods throughout her career and is passionate about passing on her love of dance to our students. Shannon is a much-loved member of our teaching panel and teaches jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, progressing ballet technique and coaches for competition and eisteddfods.

Merryn PerkinA.C.B.A – C.I.C.B

Merryn commenced her Cecchetti classical training with Miss Sandra Allan OAM, 25 years ago at Rosebud Ballet School.  Throughout her time there, she held numerous scholarships, was selected as a Cecchetti Junior and Senior Scholar and was a Cecchetti Scholarship recipient.  She has completed all major examinations with honours and is now studying the Enrico Cecchetti Final Diploma.  After completing VCE, she embarked on a Diploma of Dance at Box Hill Institute Centre of Performing Arts and graduated with the Laurel Martyn Scholarship for Choreography and Outstanding Achievement.  Merryn completed her Bachelor of Primary Education with High Distinction, and has worked as a Primary School Teacher on the Mornington Peninsula for the past 8 years.  Committed to lifelong learning and continual growth, Merryn commenced her Cecchetti teaching studies under the guidance of Sandra Allan and attained her Associate Status in 2018 with Honours.  She is currently working towards her Associate Diploma and feels very privileged to have the opportunity to pass on her love of ballet to her students.
